The tradition of Easter egg hunts and spring celebrations within the town of La Grange can be dated as early as the late 19th century, with many reports in papers and oral histories recounting the fun and games of the season.
Join us on the Bluff this Saturday to continue this tradition and make new memories in our annual Egg hunt and Osterfeuer (Easter fire). Bring a picnic and enjoy the views on the lawn and prepare for the classic egg hunt on the grounds. Learn more about early Easter traditions from our living historians near the Kreische house. Stay until sunset to sit by the bonfire (weather permitting).
