Spring Break on the Bluff: Living History - Cooking & Bookbinding
Hallo, Frühling! Spring is in the air at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill, and what better way to celebrate a break from school than outdoors at the sites!
Come up to the Bluff from March 11-19 and take part in one of our many crafts and activities. Each day will include a different educational activity
.
Living History:
Enjoy traditional German food cooked on a campfire and learn more about common crafts performed as part of everyday life at the Kreische house.
Taste a bit of history and learn more about the life during the late 19th century.
Additionally, visit the Kreische house and learn more about the art of bookbinding. Try your hand at sewing together a pamphlet or journal to take home with you.
Guided Tours of the house and brewery will also be available.
