As part of our Monument Hill Remembrance events, join us for a special Author Talk and Q&A with author Sam W. Haynes. Haynes is a professor at UT-Arlington and author of several acclaimed works on Texas history, including Soldiers of Misfortune and his most recent work, Unsettled Land.

This is a Can't-Miss event for fans of Texas history!

This event is free and will be held at 1:30 p.m. after the Monument Hill Remembrance ceremony. Books will be available for purchase in our Visitors Center.
