Join us for a day of exploring the past! Learn more about the work that archeologists do by exploring the history and artifacts of Kreische Brewery, a site excavated by Parks and Wildlife in the late 1970s. The day includes hands-on family-friendly activities, guided tours of the brewery ruins, and more. Stop by each designated station & receive a stamp in your Junior Archeologist field notebook!
This year’s programs will include:
- Mock Archeological Excavation
- DIY Pottery & Bottle Base Making
- ArcheOlympics Relay Course
- A Field Notebook to guide you through the event
- Archeology-themed giveaways
The hands-on activities and field notebook passport are designed for children aged 4-14, but guided archeological tours of the brewery and grounds will be offered for older audiences.
