Celebrate the Cultural History of Bluff SchuetzenFest


Help raise the Frisch Auf! flag for the fourth annual Bluff SchuetzenFest! Kreische family tradition states that every time a new batch of Kreische Bluff Beer was ready to be served, the family would place the Frisch Auf! banner on the edge of the Bluff. That way, the town would know it's time to gather up for a good ol' time.

You too can keep the tradition alive and help to bring the community back up to the Bluff.


Your support helps to ensure a fun, community event reminiscent to the German-Texan celebrations and gatherings in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Your support also helps to make youth education programs, historic preservation projects, site internships, and so much more possible throughout the year.

By supporting the Bluff SchuetzenFest as a Flag Bearer, you’ll receive:

  • One ticket to the Texas History on Tap Beer Garden, including ten 3oz beer samples and a commemorative tasting mug
  • One Meal Ticket 
  • Recognition in printed event program
  • Recognition on the Friends' website
  • Recognition on Flag Bearer event sign
  • Commemorative Schuetzenverein medal to keep and wear around the festival
