Spring Break on the Bluff: House & Brewery Tour

Hallo, Frühling! Spring is in the air at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill, and what better way to celebrate a break from school than outdoors at the sites! Come up to the Bluff from March 11-19 and take part in one of our many crafts and activities. Each day will include a different educational activity.

Tours: Take a walk through the rooms of the Kreische House and hike along the stone steps to Heinrich Kreische’s 19th-century Brewery. Volunteer docents will lead two tours at 12pm and 1pm to take you back into the time of this early German Texan family and their small brewing enterprise.

12:00 pm - Roots in the Rocks: Building the American Dream in the Kreische Home – Explore the rooms of the family home, built from the ground up by the enterprising Heinrich Kreische.

1:00 pm – Frisch Auf! H.L. Kreische's Bluff Brewery – Explore the ruins of the Kreische Brewery up close and personal while discovering how communities built breweries and breweries built community.
